WHAT OTHERS SAY...
First I searched the internet back in 2004 for a place to go with my daughter for a weekend getaway, praying that I would not be let down with my results. I found Mr. Bob and Mrs. Mabel's cabins in Hot Springs,NC .All I can say is they were wonderful, absolutely wonderful. the cabins were spotless, the events were preplanned by Ms. Mabel, we were given exact locationS down to where to stop and shop for groceries. Mrs. Mabel hooked me up with the best white water rafting company I have ever dealt with and we had a ball. Year after year we have repeated our stay with the Lemons, we have had adventure after adventure (one highlight was hot air balloon ride) and have never been disappointed. Throughout the years the Lemons have become more than a place to rent for a weekend getaway. They have become family. If you ever want to steal some quiet time and just relax, this is the spot to visit. You will not be disappointed. Oh yea and don't forget the Springs to sit and soak your worries away in Hot Springs NC. ~CH

We are open year round so guests can enjoy all four
seasons at our beautiful mountain retreat. From the first burst of
spring flowers, to the radiant shades of green, warm days, and cool evening of
summer, to an artist’s pallet of brilliant oranges, reds, and yellows of the
fall leaves, to the moon shining over the mountains with its reflection on the freshly fallen snow of
winter…we have it all!
Come join us, as our guests, and enjoy total
peace and tranquility as nature displays its wonders everywhere. Wake up in the morning to the sights and sounds of nature’s beautiful inhabitants, both large and small. They appear for a moment to give us a glimpse of the world around us and then disappear, leaving us in awe and amazement of their brief presence.
Our entire property is surrounded by the rich mountain woodlands of the Pisgah National Forest of Western North Carolina and a 360-degree view of higher mountains. Our “little piece of heaven” provides everything you need for a “true
mountain escape”, including a scenic mountain highway and a rushing mountain stream winding through a quaint farm valley below. Looking for Asheville cabins? Why not break away for a while from the chaotic world
and the pressures of daily life to refresh and recharge your body,
mind, and spirit? Let us show you a slower pace of life
with our fantastic NC Mountain
Vacation Packages, we offer something for everyone!
Our two immaculate, deluxe
Cabin Rentals In Hot Springs are spacious and beautifully decorated.
Each has one large bedroom with cathedral ceilings, one bathroom, and a huge, open floor plan, living room/dining room/ kitchen area with cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, and cozy braided rugs. The two cabins are located approximately 150 feet apart with a gas grill picnic area between them
to provide guests with convenience and privacy. Booking both cabins at the same time is ideal for friends and family members
who are traveling together and wish to be in close proximity
to each other, but who prefer separate accommodations. |

We are pleased to offer guests a wide assortment of outdoor activities, such as soaking in an outdoor hot mineral spa, mountain hiking, horseback riding, mountain climbing, white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, or snow skiing during the winter months at one of our two nearby
Ski Resorts. What could be more exciting than a
Hot Air Balloon ride over the mountain tops, or a ride on the
Great Smoky Mountain Railroad,
where you can view mountain scenery that can only be
seen from one of these authentic, fully restored,
climate controlled coach cars?
Take a day and roam through the
Biltmore Estate & Winery
in Asheville. This 250-room French Renaissance Chateau,
with its own vineyards and capacity to make its own
wine, is one of the first castles built in the USA, and
is the largest home in America fully open to the public
for their viewing and enjoyment.

For those who feel lucky, another day’s adventure might include a visit to the
Cherokee Indian Reservation's gambling Casino. While there, be sure to visit the museum and their seasonal outdoor drama called the “Trail of Tears,”
which reenacts the famous “March to the West,” imposed
upon over half the Cherokee Nation. On your way to the
Cherokee Reservation be sure to stop by to view the “Return of the Elks” to North Carolina, located off Hwy 276 in Maggie Valley. These beautiful creatures, once abundant in the Great Smoky Mountains, became extinct and have
now been brought back gradually by our National Park Services to resume their stately place in these wonderful mountains.
We are sure you would enjoy taking a day to
explore the “Land of the 25 Waterfalls,” the largest
display of waterfalls in the southeastern United States.
While touring the falls, be sure to stop at
Chimney Rock Park
to see the highest waterfall of all, which has been
featured in several movies filmed in the area.
A good way to round off your vacation with us is
to take a trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway to Mt. Mitchell (the highest peak east of the Mississippi River) and, then on to "Grandfather Mountain" and Linville Falls,
NC. Guests may also be interested in visiting Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and
Dollywood Amusement Park in nearby Tennessee, which is just a little more than an hour's drive from our cabins. You could become one of our many repeat guests, who never run out of exciting things to do and enjoy while staying with us.. |
